Continuing the All Seasons Pools Legacy

This was another great year for the team at All Seasons Pools. We were proud to participate in the Orange County Home and Garden Show, and we were fortunate enough to walk away with the Best of Show prize for our quality work installing Florida backyard pools.

Of course, we couldn’t have achieved this without the help of our amazing team of individuals. Our entire staff shares a commitment to excellence, allowing us to maintain our reputation as the go-to pool provider for North and Central Florida.

Celebrate 37 Years of All Seasons Pools

With 37 years under our belt and more than 50 happy employees to show for it, it’s time to celebrate! During the month of April, you can enjoy our Pick 2 Giveaway. When you purchase a pool with us, you can choose two free pool upgrades — the Colored LED Waterfall or the Colored LED Bubbler AND the Ozonator or the Ultraviolet System.

Pool Party Ideas for Your Next Birthday Bash

AllSeasonsAdmin — Wed, 13 Apr 2016 14:00:00 +0000

Summer is right around the corner, and that means warm weather and time spent in and around the pool. More importantly, it means birthday pool parties! If your birthday is in the summer, you probably feel some pressure to make it fun and memorable, not only for yourself, but also for your friends. Since everybody in Florida will be throwing pool parties, you want to make yours stand out from the crowd and be talked about long after your birthday is over. Keeping reading for a few of All Season Pool’s pool party ideas for your next birthday bash, courtesy of your local pool company and pool builder in the Jacksonville, Orlando and St. Augustine areas.

Throw a Movie Night

Many people like to celebrate their birthdays a little lower key by going to the movies. If this kind of party sounds like your speed, then you should consider making your next birthday party a movie night. Rent a projector—or move a big screen TV outside—and show a movie that you and your guests can watch while inside or outside of the pool. For an added level of fun, show a movie that is water themed. The 70s classic Jaws is always a fun choice if you want to give your guests a little thrill while they’re movie watching in the water.

Pirate Themed

As far as pool party ideas go, you can’t beat the classics. That’s why one of the top ideas for your next birthday bash should be to make it pirate themed. Have your guests dress up as pirates and see who can do the best Long John Silver impression. You can even make over the decking area around your pool as a pirate ship, with your diving board—should you have one—acting as the gang plank. Just make sure that any guest you send to Davy Jones’s Locker is wearing a swimming suit!

Pool Party Ideas to Make Your Pool Feel Like Vegas

Other than the casinos, of course, luxury hotels in Las Vegas are often focused around their pool. Your backyard pool may be smaller, but that’s no reason you can’t make it feel like it belongs on the Vegas Strip. Decorate the area around your pool by stringing lights and laying out neon glow sticks. Make sure to have a gaming area where you and your guests can play games of blackjack and poker for small prizes. Finally, serve your meals buffet style, just like you’d find in many casinos in Las Vegas. We guarantee it will be a night that you and your guest won’t soon forget.

Don’t Forget the Most Important Thing

Pool parties are one of the most fun ways you can celebrate your birthday, and as we have seen, there are a lot of creative ways to make your party memorable. However, there is really only one thing you need for the perfect pool party: a pool. All Seasons Pools is your pool builder in Florida to give you the perfect backyard oasis. You can visit our website to check out some of the great pools that we feature, as well as design your own pool with our easy to use pool builder tool.

7 Ideas for Planning the Perfect Graduation Pool Party

AllSeasonsAdmin — Fri, 10 Apr 2015 19:50:00 +0000

Are you the proud parent of an upcoming Florida graduate? Then you know that half of the graduation process is the celebration that goes along with it. Everyone wants to have the best graduation party and most of your guests, as well as yourself, will probably be visiting a handful of graduation parties around the same time. If you want to plan a graduation party that will stand out from the rest and you happen to own a pool, then make sure you look over these 7 ideas for planning the perfect graduation pool party.

Planning Food and Drinks

For some, food and drinks can be the main attraction at a party. To be a hit, you need good food! This doesn’t mean you have to prepare a three-course meal, but aim to have a good spread. Consider a buffet layout with several options. This way, everyone can find something they like. Always have a mixture of hot and cold. If you have chicken wings or ribs, serve coleslaw or potato salad to balance out the flavors.

Deciding on the Right Decorations

You do not have to go overboard when planning decorations. The best decorations are items that are easy to setup and easy to cleanup. Avoid anything that you worry about getting into the pool, such as paper streamers and other easily destroyed decorations. Some simple ideas include using balloons and ribbons to decorate chairs and food stands. Purchase a couple of cheap tablecloths to cover tables with the food and drinks to give them a festive look.

Send Invitations Early

It’s important to send out invitations early enough that people can ask for the day off or plan accordingly. As the date approaches, you may find that other families are planning graduation parties on the same day.

Ensure Your Pool is Ready for Swimming

That last thing you want to happen during your party is have everyone to show up in swimming suits only to find out the pool is out of commission. Before the party starts, perform your routine pool maintenance. Check your filters and pumps and have your water tested.

Get a Cake

Even though we’ve already covered food and drinks, the graduation cake is in it’s own category! Most bakeries offer custom designs and messages, but may require up to three weeks advance notice. Stop by your bakery earlier to look over cake options and place your order ahead of time to ensure it is ready for the party.

Follow Your Pool Safety Rules

Even if most of your guests will not be swimming, you should still follow all of your normal pool safety rules. Keep an eye on anyone, especially children, standing near the pool, and discourage running near or around the pool.

Make Sure Your Graduate Has Fun

This party is for your graduate after all, so include them when planning this fun event. Find out what they want to eat and what their favorite cake flavor is. As long as he or she is happy, that is all that really matters!

Planning the perfect graduation pool party will be a breeze if you consider some of the suggestions that were mentioned above. Just remember to have fun and enjoy the day with your new graduate. If you like the idea of throwing a pool party but do not have a pool, then contact All Season Pools today to learn more about backyard pool installation.
